About David
David Byas is a former Yorkshire County Cricket Captain, Junior International and County Hockey Player and currently Director of Sport at Pocklington School. He is a qualified Level 4 cricket coach and Level 2 hockey coach.
As well as leading Yorkshire CCC to the Championship title in 2001, David has won 3 John Haig trophy finals and 3 Yorkshire League Championships with Yorkshire League side Scarborough Cricket Club. David wore the number 1 shirt whilst playing at Yorkshire CCC, between 1985-2001, and continued this trend when moving to Lancashire County Cricket Club in 2002.
David also won a National County Championship as a hockey player.
